Foundations in Early Childhood PBL

Our Foundations training can be adapted to meet your school needs. It is currently structured in three parts that could be facilitated over one full PD day, or over 2-3 half days. Our trainings are currently facilitated online.

In this training, participants will:

  • Increase their awareness of Project Based Learning as an instructional approach

  • Develop an understanding of the constructivist principles and learner-centered practices

  • Make connections between training content and current classroom practices

  • Engage in new learning about how to integrate academic content and social and emotional learning into projects.

  • Learn how to plan for sustained inquiry in PBL with young children

  • Develop a set of strategies and resources for implementing PBL in an early childhood classroom
